The Ballot Box
Lisa Schwartz, CMCA, CM
Lisa has worked in the association management industry since 1992. She has experience as a portfolio manager for small communities, high rises and master planned communities.  Lisa has also served as the Board President for 17 communities for Shea Homes in Southern California as their designated Homeowner Association Liaison.  She understands all aspects of the homeowner association management industry from the perspective of a manager, homeowner, Board member and Developer.

Lisa’s mission with the creation of The Ballot Box is to address the needs of both associations and management company representatives to conduct their elections professionally and with integrity. As a former association manager, she understands the incredible amount of stress that comes with the job of managing communities. Her desire is to provide quality service to the Associations for their election and voting needs, ultimately reducing the managers overall workload so that they can focus on the important management needs of their communities.

Lisa has held the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) from Community Associations Institute (CAI) for over 12 years, and is also currently a licensed Community Manager in the State of Nevada (CM). Lisa also held for more than 15 years the Certified Community Association Manager designation from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and the (AMS) Association Management Specialist designations from the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for more than 18 years.
